 Gary Leon. Williams 46 of Mitchell, Oregon passed away February 22, 2010. A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M., March 13, 2010 at the Mitchell Gymnasium. Gary was born on December 8, 1963 in Prineville, Oregon to Billy Lee and Helen (Dupes) Williams. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1983. After high school Gary joined the U.S. Navy. He attended training and became a Hull Technician achieving First Class during his career. Gary retired from the Navy in 2006, after completing 20 years of service. Upon retiring from the military, Gary became a Corrections Officer for the Oregon Department of Corrections assigned to Deer Ridge Correctional Institute in Madras, Oregon. Gary married Doriana Combi on March 16, 1991 in Los Angeles County, California. His hobbies included: Hunting, fishing, gun collecting, coaching high school basketball and spending time with his family and friends. Gary is survived by his loving wife Doriana Williams, daughter Josephine Williams, sons Jacob and Justin Williams, of Mitchell, Or; sister Kimberly Stafford, of Bonney Lake, Wa; father Billy Williams of Mitchell, Or, Mother Helen Williams of Lebanon, Or; Step mother Emily Williams of Mitchell, Or; and one grandson.
